“Daughter of the Mountain has changed every cell in my being. It has changed everything for me, and I cannot live any other way from now on; I am more intentional, more devotional, more centered and more fully in trust/surrender to life.

How do you even describe an experience that takes you so deep into connection with yourself and with other women? Even though I try, words do little justice, but I feel it moving in me, and it was everything my body, soul and mind needed. The facilitators made it possible for us to surrender into the beautifully curated space. I felt so deeply held by all the women.  

Every single moment I felt I could fall deeper into presence, into myself and into the field. To be held by those mountains was extremely fortifying. The tea ceremonies were one of the most mind  blowing &  illuminating parts. The silent hike brought me home to myself. I made soul connections that allowed me to see myself blooming in every woman around me.  Daughter of the Mountain is revelatory -  it's a calling back into truly living in the ceremony of life.

This retreat was a homecoming, it was a remembering of something so ancient & primordial that the sanctity of it made us all speechless as we closed the space. From the moment I said yes to daughter of the mountain my life started to shift, my body began to calibrate, revelations, insights & openings unravelled.

We all agreed there were no words for DOTM but as I listen to my body it whispers “safety, coherence, truth.” That was the web that Lexi created with her heart & that of her teams. The integrity, impeccability & sincerity of everyone involved allowed the ripples to flow into us all, where it was safe enough to be in ecstasy, safe enough to meet buried shadows & fears & safe enough to be seen by another woman.

I have realised to see & be seen by another woman who is devoted to truth will change everything. It is an intimacy so pure that will crack your heart, womb & shakti open so wide you see possibilities you didn’t before.

My body healed here; I had no mental stories but my body was remembering & reconfiguring to the safety of woman. You do not have to be anything here, you do not have to do anything here but so much will get done.

I am writing this reflection 7 months following the retreat & am brought to tears feeling its continued impact on my life. Gifts will come from your time here. Bonds that will hold across seas & a belonging that feels like being in your mother’s womb. You will see woman differently, holding a longer, deeper, more loving gaze. You will see yourself. You will heal yourself.

“It doesn’t feel truthful to call DOTM  a retreat, it’s a life changing journey that i think every woman on this planet should experience. Every woman should experience the love, the holding of one another, the tenderness, the softness. DOTM is something so unique on this planet that it is really difficult to describe it. If we all lived like we lived on DOTM, I believe there wouldn’t be chronic diseases, no wars…we would live in harmony. I truly believe that the work that Alexis is doing, is taking women back to their origins of how we used to live in simplicity and love - what the modern world has taken away from us. 

I have been so disconnected from my feminine essence for such a long time and going back to this wisdom has been so transformational. All the women i met at the retreat were incredible, it was so special to go there without introducing ourselves based on what we do and how old we are and where do we come from but instead see one another based on our energy/emotions without any prejudice or fear of judgment - it really changed my view of the world. The whole venue was magical, the pyrenees were gorgeous, and you could feel the love, care & honesty in everybody present.

It’s rare nowadays to feel so much truth, because everyone is wearing a mask. But here everyone was just in their raw, authentic self. The small details we experienced like not having mirrors, not using our phones, was already so life changing. On top of that all the care we received from Alexis and her team of facilitators made us feel like we were family even though most of us met for the first time. It felt like we were sisters connected by blood. It was really life changing for me and everyday I am integrating this experience into my life. What I have experienced at Daughter of the Mountain I cannot unsee anymore, it has changed my life and I will forever be grateful for it. I wish that all women (and men) will experience something like this in their lifetime.”

“This is something I will never forget for my entire life. It was absolutely life changing. There’s really no words to describe this experience - words fall short, you simply have to live it and be in that magic to feel and experience it. DOTM has left me speechless. As Alexis promised, DOTM was not a retreat it was a returning, a deep remembering process, a somatic journey of the heart.

There were so many beautiful, heartfelt women that made this an exquisite experience. It was so intensely touched by the entirety of the experience. Alexis is absolutely magical, and incredible, along with Claire, Anne Sarah and Kim - everybody was amazing. The venue, Casa Cuadrau was amazing, it felt like you were being held in the mountains arms. The shala was the womb of the whole experience and each facilitator was absolutely incredible at their craft and superpower.”

“Finding the right words for my experience in Daughter of the Mountain isn’t an easy task. I wasn’t aware how powerful it would be for me. The way Alexis curated a space with women who are all on the same path was a very magical experience and I feel like we were all meant to be there.

I’ve had a truly magical and divine experience and I’m still processing the insights and moments that we got to share with the women in the circle. The Spanish pyrenees is a sacred and magical place in and of itself. I’ve had big breakthroughs throughout the week, because I felt so deeply held by the women. I am also in deep gratitude for all the tea ceremonies which have awakened a deep and profound remembrance and beautiful revelations.

I am in awe of what happened and the beauty that we entered in each temple space and the depth of safety we were allowed to experience just by being held by nature and the mountains and especially by the women. It’s a truly magical experience I will remember for a long time - it has impacted me profoundly. The insights that occurred have given me answers to big questions I was holding for a long time. Even after the journey, it’s still working through me bringing revelations. And I can’t wait to join the next one!”

“Daughter of the mountain was beautiful beyond words. My soul has been touched, being surrounded by these beautiful women that I really call my sisters. The feeling of being up in the mountains, feeling so safe , so grounded, so rooted, so taken care of - it was like “here are your roots.”

My ancestors were really close, like being with my grandparents and feeling their wisdom and their warmth and you knowing you are safe and loved. I felt like it was totally ok to just be me. The  mountains made me slow down, made me remember what it is to be in this soft feminine energy, and from that place you really feel the connection with ancestors, nature, the divine, and with your true self.

We all felt so connected to each other, it was so beautiful, so heart warming to feel this connection to the other women. I am trying to describe the feeling, but it’s impossible to put into words how I feel and how i felt about this journey. One thing is certain, it was one of the biggest experience of my life. I will cherish it, I will take it with me forever and I am so grateful for this beyond beautiful experience.”

“I don’t know if I have ever had an experience this empowering, moving and connected to myself. The only other experience that was as emotionally moving, was my own wedding. My experience at Daughter of the Mountain is up there with my wedding. I’ve been trying to find the words to express what my experience was like at Daughter of the Mountain. It’s such a felt experience. This retreat allowed me to find more love and acceptance for the body I have here and now. I’ve been through a lot of changes since turning 40 and being in front of a camera with Anne Sarah who is so encouraging and loving really helped me see myself the way these women saw me - beautiful. The love and support of these women helped imprint a new inner dialogue  - which has been profound.

I saw other women accessing emotions I haven't yet been able to access which left an imprint of what it’s like to be truly loved/accepted  in your full expression. Witnessing the unedited rage, joy, grief, and ecstasy truly touched me.
